I decided to do the drawing challenge several times to finish out this project. I like Pokemon, so I felt like they would be fun to draw. The Pokemon I decided to draw were Serperior (on the right) and Skrelp (under Serperior.) To make these Pokemon, I watched a Youtube video (for Serperior) and consulted the images of them on Bulbapedia. I used pencil, colored pencil, and Sharpie marker for serperior and just pencil for Skrelp. I first drew each Pokemon on notebook paper to get some practice, and second I drew it on regular white paper as a final draft. I wanted a more cartoon-like drawing of Serperior, so I also colored it in and went over the lines with Sharpie. I learned that some of the time when drawing Pokemon, you can break it down into smaller shapes and letters. I learned that from the video I watched. To improve Serperior in the final draft, I would have made him larger. To improve Skrelp in the final draft, I would make his head less tall. He looks funny. However, the shading in the final design is something I was proud of. I also was happy with how Serperior turned out, even though I was confused the first time I watched the video because it didn't seem to make sense. This kind of reminded me how fun drawing Pokemon is, and it brought me back to 4th grade when I drew Pokemon all the time.
